Toronto Jazz Festival 2015, New Images!

The 2015 Toronto Jazz festival is well under way, starting with a packed square to get all funky with Morris Day & the Time. This crowd then shifted their attention towards the main stage under the tent for George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic. I was too late to get a wrist band for the main show under the tent so had to watch from outside, which you can see on the right hand side of this image in the background

For the Swing-set, the Legendary Count Basie Orchestra kept the toes tappin’ and the dance floor jiving.

There are regular shows at the Paddock Tavern every day this week, some great singers and players are on the bill. This is the Ryan Oliver Trio with Damian Szidiropulosz sitting in on guitar.

Festival Season is upon us! And the Toronto Jazz Festival is my fave!

Yes, Festival Season 2015 is in full flight, and one of my favorites is the Toronto Jazz festival coming up later this month June 18th thru June 29th at numerous locations mostly in the downtown core.

Tower of Power will be a Nathan Philips Square June 20th.

The festival kicks off at Nathan Philips Square on June 19th with George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic headlining. Dumpstaphunk and Morris Day & the Time are the opening acts for this Free show starting at 5pm.
